I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with families, couples, and individuals. I am also in the process of pursuing my certification as a Registered Play Therapist through the Association for Play Therapy (www.a4pt.org). My passion for working with children and their parents is to help them become the best families they can be. When working with couples, I work to understand the experiences, perspectives, and goals of both partners. I approach therapy from an Attachment Theory model providing therapy for a wide range of emotional and behavioral problems.
I provide therapy services in both a private practice setting, as well as, volunteer at the Chaplain’s Family Life Training Center at FT Hood at which, I have the opportunity to work with active duty military and their families. Having grown up in a military family, I know first-hand the effects of military life, especially in regards to children. I have been married for 37 years, have 4 grown children and am the proud "MeMa" of 4 grand boys.
I practice at Insight Counseling Center in Belton Texas.
